In the editors' workshop, visitors to experimenta Heilbronn can demonstrate their journalistic talent. We have a fully equipped editorial office for the science center with five workstations and a trick photo studio. Under the motto "Your headline, your photo, your newspaper", talent scouts of all ages can become editors-in-chief and demonstrate their journalistic instinct. Anyone who wants to can have their photo taken with celebrities from politics and culture in the trick photo studio and then use the interactive newspaper page editor to write the appropriate headline and story for the cover photo.

On 7500 m2, four themed worlds (electrical plant, workshop, network and play mechanism) offer the opportunity to rediscover and better understand science and technology through your own experiments.

The main idea of ​​the experimenta is to deal with individual talents. In the experimenta, visitors can search for their own, sometimes hidden, talents. And for this, in addition to a comprehensive range of exhibitions, the science center offers a special feature: the so-called "talent forges".

Encourage fun in reading & writing Newspaper as an individual souvenir

The editors' workshop wants to stimulate interest in making newspapers and promote the fun of reading and writing. Visitors research and write articles themselves, which can be printed out in the original layout of the Heilbronner Stimme, and in this way experience first-hand how a newspaper is created. In no time at all, the editors' workshop creates an individual souvenir that makes a visit to experimenta an unforgettable experience.

Over 300,000 newspaper pages Visitor Magnet

The newspaper medium can be used both for self-staging and as part of media didactic projects. In the long term, in addition to the exhibition, there are plans to offer newspaper workshops for school classes. Since the ceremonial opening in November 2009, over 300,000 visitors have put their talent to the test.
