Social Media Campaign Social Sciences illustrated

Together with the researchers of the Research Center for Social Cohesion (FGZ), we have cast the central questions and results of the first FGZ cohesion report into lovingly designed illustrations and infographics. Thanks to the clear visual language, basic social science concepts become just as vivid as the quantitative and qualitative results of the survey.

Infographics on Results Focus on Cohesion

What is the state of cohesion in Germany? The FGZ researchers asked more than 12,000 people! The results can be read in the FGZ's first cohesion report.

Among other things, the researchers wanted to know from the respondents who is part of their circle of acquaintances - and who is not. What background, level of education, income, place of residence, political views and religion do these acquaintances have? The FGZ researchers asked about 16 social groups with potential conflicts between them. The answers enabled them to analyze the composition of social networks in Germany, which “bubbles” exist and what this does to social cohesion.

Illustration & Collage Bringing correlations into the picture

We prepared the central statements of the report for the FGZ's social media channels, among others. We worked with bold Twotone illustrations as well as illustrative collages of old family photos. The design approach as well as the visual language and choice of topics were determined together with the FGZ researchers in a creative workshop.
